MTSS Behavior Support Meeting Agenda

This one-page agenda keeps MTSS behavior meetings focused and consistent, whether it's a weekly team check-in or a monthly Tier 2/3 review. Built-in time allocations and note fields for each section make it easy to stay on track and walk away with clear next steps instead of a scattered conversation.

The agenda moves through six timed sections:

• Welcome and Norm Review (5 min): Confirm the purpose of the meeting and review team norms and confidentiality expectations
• Tier 1 Behavior Data Review (10 min): Look at ODR trends, attendance data, and behavior screener results to identify systemic issues and action steps
• Tier 2/3 Student Progress Review (15 min): Check progress monitoring updates for students already receiving intervention, plus fidelity check-ins
• New Referrals (15 min): Review new student data and referral forms, and problem-solve using the MTSS process (define, analyze, plan, assign)
• Action Planning and Next Steps (10 min): Assign responsibilities, set timelines, and schedule follow-ups, using the built-in Strategy / Person Responsible / Timeline table
• Meeting Close (5 min): Recap key decisions and confirm what gets documented
