(Optional) Customize a Group Tracker for Student

Learn how to customize an individual student's Group Tracker while preserving the shared structure and standardized scoring established by the Group Tracker.

Although the Group Tracker establishes common Behavior Domains, Rating Scale descriptions, and scoring criteria, each student's Group Tracker can be customized before data collection begins.

This approach allows teams to maintain consistent data collection across all enrolled students while individualizing supports for students who need them.

Open a Student's Group Tracker

To open a student's Group Tracker:

  • From the Group Tracker List, click the Group Tracker Name, then select the student's name displayed under Enrolled Students.

Or

  • Open the student's file and select the Group Tracker from the Behavior Supports or Data & Graphs folder.
Student-Level Customization

Each student's Group Tracker can be customized independently of the original Group Tracker.

You may:

  • Add additional Behavior Domains.
  • Add Target Behaviors.
  • Add or edit Measurement Periods (Intervals).
  • Add Bonus Points.

Note: Core Behavior Domains and Rating Scale descriptions inherited from the Group Tracker cannot be edited or removed.

After Data Collection Begins

Once data has been entered, settings that would affect the accuracy of existing data can no longer be edited or removed.

Examples include:

  • Behavior Domains
  • Rating Scale descriptions
  • Measurement Periods (Intervals)

Instead, click Hide to remove these items from future data collection while preserving historical data and graphs.

New Behavior Domains, Measurement Periods (Intervals), Target Behaviors, and Bonus Points can still be added before the next data entry.

Tip: If you are just getting started and only a small amount of data has been collected, you may choose to delete each saved Pointsheet (after saving a screenshot or copy, if needed). Once all Pointsheets have been deleted, you can fully edit the student's Group Tracker before continuing data collection.

When customization is complete, the student's Group Tracker functions the same as any other Student Tracker for ongoing data collection, graphing, and progress monitoring.

Next Step: Continue to Enter Group Data to begin collecting Tracker data for all students enrolled in the Group Tracker.
