Data & Graphs (Student File)
Learn how to create, manage, and graph student data using Trackers and Frequency & Duration Data Tools.
The Data & Graphs folder displays all Tracker and Frequency/Duration Data Tools created for the student. From this page, you can access existing data tools, enter data, view graphs, create new data tools, and archive tools that are no longer actively used.
Data Tools ListEach Data Tool is displayed in a searchable table.
For each Data Tool, the table displays:
- Graph Description (name of the Data Tool)
- Data Type (Pointsheet/CICO, Rating Scale, Frequency/Duration, etc.)
- Created date
- Last Modified Date
- Last Modified By
Use the search field and filters at the top of the page to quickly locate specific Data Tools.
Open a Data ToolClick the Graph Description to open the Data Tool.
From there you can:
- Edit Data Tool settings
- Download printable data sheets (when applicable)
- View or edit previously entered data
- Access the Data History
- Manage other Data Tool settings
Click Enter Data to record or update data for a specific date.
View GraphsClick Graph to display progress graphs and analyze student performance over time.
Starting a New Data ToolUse the buttons in the upper-right corner to create a new Data Tool.
Select one of the following:
- Start Tracker (see Tracker article)
- Create New Frequency/Duration Data Tool (see Frequency/Duration article)
Click Archive to remove a Data Tool from the active list when it is no longer being used.
Archiving does not delete the Data Tool or any previously collected data. All existing data, graphs, and settings remain available and can be restored at any time.
To locate an archived Data Tool:
- Use the Active filter (shown as All by default).
- Select Archived.
- Click Search.
Archived Data Tools can still be opened to review historical data and graphs.
To restore a Data Tool to the active list, open the archived Data Tool and click Unarchive.
Note: Archiving is useful when a Data Tool is no longer being used but you wish to preserve historical data and graphs for future reference or reporting.
