Classroom Support Plans

  • Classroom expectation
  • Classroom routine

Examples:

  • Mrs. Smith - September 2026
  • Independent Work Routine
  • Respectful Transitions

The How to Use section can be expanded at any time to view a detailed overview of the Classroom Support Plan process.

Step 1: Identify an Expectation

Select one expectation or behavior you would like to build within the classroom or group of students.

Choose from the available expectations list or select Add Custom Expectation to create your own.

Use the details field to further describe the expectation if needed.

Step 2: Select a Routine

Choose one classroom routine or time of day where the expectation will be targeted initially.

Rather than focusing on the entire school day, Classroom Support Plans are designed to start small by targeting one specific routine where additional structure, support, and positive reinforcement may be beneficial.

Choose from the available routines list or select Add Custom Routine to create your own.

Use the details field to further describe the routine if needed.

Step 3: Select Strategies

Choose one or two strategies from the strategy library.

These evidence-based classroom management and Tier 1 support strategies are designed to:

  • Increase structure and predictability
  • Promote positive behavior and engagement
  • Improve implementation consistency
  • Support classroom expectations proactively

Each strategy includes:

  • A brief description
  • Examples of implementation
  • A short training video explaining the strategy and when it may be helpful

Add implementation details as needed to describe how the strategy will be used in your classroom.

Step 4: Manage Staff Access

By default, only the creator of the plan can view it after it is saved.

To share the plan, select additional staff members who should have access.

Examples:

  • A teacher may share the plan with an administrator, coach, or support team member.
  • A School Psychologist, BCBA, or other support provider may create the plan collaboratively and then share it with the teacher responsible for implementation.

Shared staff members will be able to view and manage the plan once it has been saved.

Save the Plan

When all sections are complete, click Save Plan to create the Classroom Support Plan.
