BER List  (Platform Manager Access)

Learn how to search, filter, and manage Behavior Emergency Reports (BERs), access student records, and export CalPADS reporting files.

From the Navigation Menu, select BER List to access a dashboard displaying all Behavior Emergency Reports (BERs) created for students within your school, district, or organization (based on your access permissions).

The BER List provides a centralized view of behavior emergency incidents, allowing administrators, behavior specialists, and support teams to efficiently review reports, monitor trends, and access related student supports.

Viewing and Managing BERs

Use the Search, Filter, and Column Sort features to quickly locate and organize reports by information such as:

  • Student
  • Teacher/Staff
  • School
  • Incident Date
  • Start Time

Click the BER ID to open and edit a specific Behavior Emergency Report.

Click the Student name to open the student's Behavior Supports folder, providing quick access to related Behavior Supports, including Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), Trackers, and other student supports that may assist with reviewing the incident and planning next steps.

BER List Export

Click BER List Export to generate a CSV file of Behavior Emergency Report data.

Choose from the available CalPADS reporting formats to view, save, print, or further analyze incident data.

These exports help support:

  • State reporting requirements
  • District and site-level record keeping
  • Review of behavior emergency trends
  • Year-end CalPADS reporting

Tip: Regularly reviewing the BER List can help teams identify patterns across students, classrooms, schools, or time periods, supporting proactive planning, staff training, and continuous improvement of behavior support systems.
