Behavior Advantage Navigation Menu

The Navigation Menu serves as the home page of Behavior Advantage and provides quick access to the platform's primary tools and features. Use it to create and manage Behavior Supports, enter and review student data, access professional learning resources, and navigate organization-wide management tools.

Create and manage individualized Behavior Supports, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), Simple BIPs, Student Trackers, Check-In/Check-Out plans, and other progress monitoring tools.

• Click Student Supports to add a new student or view the full Student List.
• Use the Student Search field and Arrow button to quickly navigate to a student's Behavior Supports folder.

Create and manage shared Group Tracker templates, including Check-In/Check-Out and other group-based Pointsheets.

Group Tracker allows staff to Enter Group Data for multiple students from a single screen (previously called Mass Data Entry) and monitor progress across students, behaviors, classrooms, and time using the Group Graph.

Note: Students must be enrolled in a Group Tracker from this page. Student enrollment cannot be completed from the Student Actions menu within Student Supports.

Access Behavior Advantage's professional learning center, featuring on-demand courses, implementation resources, and practical behavior support strategies.

The Professional Development Series provides structured learning through short video modules covering foundational behavior support topics. Staff may complete the full series to earn a Behavior Advantage Micro Badge and Certificate of Completion, or use individual sessions to support staff meetings, team learning, and professional discussion.

Practical Strategies provides brief, 3–4 minute videos focused on immediately applicable classroom and intervention techniques.

Tip: To keep BA Academy open while working in Behavior Advantage, right-click the BA Academy icon and select Open Link in New Tab (or Open Link in New Window, depending on your browser).

Develop classroom-wide behavior support plans that strengthen Tier 1 practices, monitor implementation, and track progress over time.

Use the Classroom Support Plan to establish classroom expectations, routines, interventions, and implementation goals before developing individualized supports for students.

The Platform Management menu provides administrators and Platform Managers with organization-wide management tools and reporting features.

All Supports

Search, filter, and manage Behavior Supports across all schools for which you have access. Locate supports by student, report name, staff member, school, Behavior Support Model, or active status.

Click a Report Name to open a Behavior Support, or click a Student name to navigate directly to the student's Behavior Supports folder.

Dashboard

View summary data showing the number and types of Behavior Supports created during a selected date range. Compare implementation across schools, monitor platform utilization, and quickly access school-specific Behavior Supports.

Staff List

Create and manage staff accounts, assign student access and feature permissions, reset passwords, and deactivate staff accounts as needed.

BER List

View and manage all Behavior Emergency Reports (BERs) created across your school or district. Sort and filter reports, access individual BERs, and export CalPADS reporting files.
